Screen sharing, with your permission
Help from our technician, on your own screen
With your permission, our technician mirrors your computer and works on the problem directly. It is quicker than loading the machine into the car, and you can watch everything that happens.
Remote sessions are useful for software, email, security and setup problems. Hardware faults — screens, batteries, drives, ports — still need the device on our bench, and we will tell you which applies to you before you commit to anything.

How a remote session works
Four steps, and you control all of them
- 01
You get in touch
Message the team on WhatsApp or call the store and describe what is happening. We agree a time that suits you, and there is nothing to install before that.
- 02
You install the client yourself
The remote support client is downloaded and started by you, on your own computer. We will talk you through it line by line if you would rather not guess.
- 03
You start the session
You share the session code with our technician. Nothing starts until you do, and the screen is only visible while the session is open.
- 04
You watch the work and end it
Our technician works on the issue while you watch. You can end the session at any moment, and afterwards we explain what was changed.
What remote support suits
Jobs that are often done in one session
- Software faults, failed updates and configuration problems
- Virus and malware cleanups, and browser hijacks
- Email, printer, drive and account setup
- Slow performance investigations and startup cleanups
- Guidance while you learn your own machine or a new piece of software
- Small business machines and users, cleared without an engineer travelling
Remote support lets our technician mirror your computer with your permission and work on the issue directly. You install the remote support client yourself, you watch the session, and you can end it at any time. Get in touch and we will talk you through it.
What this page is not
Remote sessions do not run inside this website, and there is nothing to log into here. This page explains the service and passes your request to the team. The session itself is started by you, on your own machine, using the remote support client.
What helps us before a session
- The make and model of the computer
- What you were doing when the problem started
- The exact message or error on screen, or a photo of it
- Whether you have a backup, and where
- A time window when you can sit with the machine
No promises we cannot keep
We do not advertise instant support or fixed response times. Sessions are arranged around the store's hours and the technician's day, and we will tell you honestly when we can be with you online.
Remote support questions
Do I need to book before bringing a device in?
You can walk in during opening hours, or send us the details on WhatsApp first. A repair enquiry tells us what is coming in, and we confirm the next step with you before anything is agreed.
Which devices do you repair?
Laptops, desktop computers, MacBooks and iMacs, smartphones, tablets and printers. We also handle software faults, data recovery, antivirus work, performance issues, upgrades and system failures.
How does repair pricing work?
Repairs are assessed before they are agreed, so you get a clear picture of the fault and the options first. Send the device type and a description of the fault on WhatsApp and the team will talk you through it. Work is only carried out once you are happy to proceed.
How long will a repair take?
It depends on the fault and on parts, so we confirm it once we have looked at the device rather than quoting a number in advance. For anything that needs a part ordered in, we will tell you that at the start.
Request remote support
Describe the problem and tell us when you are free. This opens WhatsApp with your details written out, and we reply to arrange the session and talk you through starting it.
- WhatsApp +353 89 260 6444 — the fastest route.
- Or call the Ennis store on 065 6827 229.
- Nothing runs on your machine without you starting the session.
